Michael Meihaus is San Diego born and raised, and the owner of Meihaus CPA, a firm specializing exclusively in retirement plan audits. Prior to starting his firm, he managed the California retirement plan audit practice at a Top 100 firm. Throughout his career he has specialized in process design, standardization, and audit efficiency. He has built and managed offshore teams in both India and the Philippines and has traveled on multiple occasions to India for onsite teambuilding and training. He is passionate about promoting the opportunities in the CPA profession and supporting the next generation of firm owners and he regularly writes and creates content on LinkedIn and Twitter. Michael was a member of the 2022 class of the AICPA Leadership Academy and volunteers at several state and local organizations.
