Barbara Richardson is the founder of Springwell Financial Solutions, a CPA firm specializing in strategic tax planning, advisory and compliance services for service based businesses. Licensed in 2003, Barbara began her accounting career with PwC in a Business Advisory Development and Leadership Program, with rotations in Transaction Services, Audit and Operational Risk Management. She furthered her career in financial reporting for a leading real estate company and was also an AVP in the Financial Reporting and Controls Department of a top 10 national bank. Barbara's career journey is the origin of her ability to turn complex tax and accounting theory into understandable concepts for her clients, thereby creating practical solutions for them to achieve. She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, Georgia Society of CPAs and National Association of Tax Professionals. She also services as a Board Member of her city's Mainstreet Program and was appointed by the Mayor as a Board Member of the Downtown Development Authority where she currently serves as Treasurer. As an unapologetic advocate for work life balance, Barbara enjoys her time outside of the office. A true wanderlust, she has vacationed on every continent except Antarctica and is currently on a quest to complete a bucket list goal of visiting all 50 states. When she's not traveling, she enjoys quality time with family and friends and a good artisan donut.
