Melissa is Accenture's Chief Accounting Officer & Corporate Controller, responsible for accounting policy and processes, internal controls and external reporting. She is a Certified Public Accountant with a passion for building teams and creating value through innovation, collaboration and operational excellence. Melissa began her career as an auditor and consultant for Arthur Andersen and held controllership roles at a couple of public companies prior to joining Accenture in 2013. Melissa holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Richmond. She is a Value Based Six Sigma Greenbelt and a member of Financial Executives International’s Committee on Corporate Reporting, where she serves as the ESG committee chair.
