Peter Porrino is a member of the Board of Directors of American International Group (AIG) and serves as Chair of their audit committee risk management committee. Prior to that he was the EVP and CFO of XL Group plc from 2011 until his retirement in 2018. Prior to joining XL, Peter had two stints as a partner at Ernst & Young before retiring. He first spent 15 years (5 as a partner) in the insurance audit practice. After 6 years working for two insurance companies, he returned to lead EY's $1 billion global insurance industry practice until he joined XL. He is the current Chair of the National Board of Directors of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and as a result, is a member of all the Board's committees.
