Ali Blackburn is a Managing Director in Ernst & Young's assurance practice, and she has 25 years of experience auditing benefit plans. Ali received her bachelor's degree in accounting from Purdue University and is a Certified Public Accountant, a member the AICPA and the Indiana CPA society.     * She is a subject matter specialist within her firm for health & welfare, defined-contribution, and defined-benefit pension plans.     * As a region leader Ali provides technical assistance to approximately 200 plans.     * She is a regular leader of her firm's benefit plan audit trainings.     * Ali has extensive experience with hard-to-value investments, plan mergers, terminations, spinouts, prohibited transactions, 401(h), TOLIs and master trusts.     * She also participates in her firm's internal audit quality reviews of employee benefit plan audits annually. Ali resides in Indianapolis, and in her spare time she enjoys being with her three children, boating and gardening.
