He pursued and obtained coveted certifications, including MCSE, CCNA, and CCDA, equipping himself with the expertise needed to build and enhance VOIP-enabled data networks across the Midwest. His experience in this arena proved instrumental in establishing his foundation in the field of IT. A pivotal point in Adam's career occurred when he assumed a role within the Electric Co-ops, overseeing a statewide network encompassing various cooperatives and substations. Here, his focus extended to encompass firewall management and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), deepening his understanding of network security. Following a remarkable 14-year tenure with the Co-ops, Adam transitioned to a managed service provider specializing in serving community banking clients. As Manager of IT, he led a dynamic team responsible for maintaining the IT infrastructure and implementing robust security measures to safeguard the sensitive data of banking clients. His contributions extended beyond technical support, as he developed comprehensive security awareness training programs, provided valuable insights into security policies and procedures, and crafted meticulous Disaster Recovery and Incident Response Plans. Driven by a commitment to excellence, Adam also founded a thriving security consulting practice, where he orchestrated pivotal services such as penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and network remediation for clients.
