Betsy began her public accounting career in 1985 at a then Big 8 firm, joined Maher Duessel in 1991 and is currently Chairman and Director of Non-Profit Services for the firm. Betsy serves as Engagement Partner for a wide range of non-profit clients including arts/cultural organizations, associations, community development entities, environmental/conservation organizations, foundations, human service agencies and religious entities. Betsy is an active volunteer with the AICPA Not-for-Profit Section Advisory Council, the National Pipeline Advisory Group, and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She also serves her community as a United Way of Southwestern PA Executive Committee and Board member.
