Rahaf Kaylani serves as the senior advisor to the Chief Financial Officer and Deputy Chief Financial Offer at the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Ms. Kaylani has served HUD in roles spanning from overseeing the financial operations and management of HUD funds, implementing enterprise risk management and fraud risk management in grant operations, introducing AI in financial operations, to helping lead the financial transformation at HUD.  She has been instrumental in creating and instituing a roadmap and a CFO Audit Plan, respectively, for HUD to oversee and monitor the flow of funds to prevent improper payments, reduce risk and prevent fraud, for the first time in the history of the Agency.

Ms. Kaylani is also involved in collaborative initiatives across Federal agencies to improve government standards in payment integrity and fiscal responsibility within government financial operations.

Ms. Kaylani holds a Master of Arts in International Affairs and Foreign Policy, Master of Business Administration in Marketing and Finance and a post-Master's degree in Executive Legislative Studies.
