Horace McCormick Jr. is Executive Vice President and CHRO for the Anderson Automotive Group. Prior to joining AAG, Horace was SVP Human Resources for Bell Partners. Horace worked for Group Michelin in international roles in human resources, marketing, and sales. He managed talent for Michelin across all continents including expatriates and inpatriates to support their global growth plans.

Horace was VP Human Resources at Fidelity Investments. He was a member of Fidelity's global coaching team. He was also responsible for improving executive bench-strength in Asia and redesigning Fidelity's approach to managing global talent and succession planning.

Horace worked at UNC Chapel Hill Kenan-Flagler Business School where he taught talent management and worked in executive development. Horace worked as a consultant to the JFK Special Warfare Center at Fort Liberty, NC where he taught emotional intelligence to special forces operators.  Horace is a former Intelligence Officer in the U.S. Army.
