As a New York based real estate assurance partner and having spent time in PwC's National office, Bill is responsible for some of the Firm's most complex real estate and asset management engagements. With more than 19 years of experience serving clients in the real estate and asset management industry, Bill's responsibilities include providing audit and consulting services to large publicly traded REITs as well as private equity real estate firms. He has led audit engagements for REITs, real estate investment/opportunity funds, private equity and mutual funds, portfolios of or individual properties and BDCs - and has experience with the financing, development, investing, construction, and managing of all types of real estate and hospitality including: commercial office and industrial buildings, multi-family apartments, data centers, retail, medical office and healthcare, hotels and resorts, etc.

Prior to joining the New York practice in 2015, Bill served as a consultant in PwC's National Quality Organization - Accounting Services Group, specializing in accounting issues and complex transactions related to the real estate industry and overall leasing arrangements. Bill's experience also includes extensive transactional real estate investment experience, including consulting on accounting and reporting for real estate transactions including complex acquisitions and mergers.

He has been actively involved in authoring real estate industry and firm thought leadership. Bill has contributed to or co-authored many of our real estate thought leadership publications, including:

Bill also participated in PwC's Genesis Park program in 2015, a year-long global leadership program with residential sessions in Shanghai, China and Noordwijk, Netherlands and PwC's LEAD (Leadership Experience & Accelerated Development) program in 2023-2024.

Prior to his role in the Accounting Services Group, Bill was a member of PwC's Philadelphia Asset and Wealth Management assurance practice from 2005 to 2013. His clients included public REITs, private real estate investment advisors and funds, real estate owners/developers, residential and commercial property managers, and hospitality operators.

With a passion for leadership development, Bill is actively involved in building and delivering various personal and professional leadership programs (founder of PwC's Engage to Lead program and partner sponsor of RISE program), serves on various leadership development advisory councils, and is heavily involved in mentoring and recruiting efforts at the Firm.

Bill also has a passion for furthering youth education and has been actively involved in PwC's Earn Your Future and Access Your Potential programs which have made a commitment to address youth education with a focus on financial literacy. Bill has also participated in PwC's Project Belize which teaches financial literacy to teachers and students in Belize City, Belize and also serves as the PwC partner sponsor of the Firm's involvement with the Read Ahead program, a reading-based mentoring program for elementary school students in New York City.

Bill also currently sits on the board of the New York chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Bill is a member of NAREIT and a CPA affiliated with the AICPA, licensed in New York and Pennsylvania. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Mount Saint Mary's University.
