Alfred holds a B.Com de gree and an MBA and h as over 25 years’ experience in banking and

financial services, having held senior positions in both Nedbank and ABSA before he joined African

Bank in 2012 and Bayport in 2017. He is a qu alifie d Chartered Managem en t Accountant (CIMA)

and a previous Chairm an of CIMA in Sou th Africa. Alfred’s career spans roles ranging from Head

of Private Bank, Head of Distribution and Group Executive: Sales and Marketing. An experienced

senior executive, Alfred has extensive experience in leading businesses. After a year as Deputy

CEO of Bayport SA, Alfre d was appointed as CEO of Bayport SA in August 2018 and serves as

Exe cutive Dire ctor on the Bayport SA Board. Alfred was appointed asCIMA Council Member and AICPA

Board Member in 2023.
