Amy McLocklin is a Senior Manager in the EY Financial Services Office State and Local Tax practice serving the real estate sector. Amy has over 13 years of experience in public accounting, specifically focused on the Real Estate industry and state and local tax.

Prior to joining the National Real Estate State and Local Tax group, Amy was a part of EY's Real Estate Practice, where she advised clients on income/franchise tax and REIT compliance, due diligence, and flow-through complexities for real estate companies. She has a broad knowledge base with experience serving real estate partnership and REIT clients.

Amy has extensive experience providing state and local tax services to clients in the areas of income, franchise (net worth) and transfer taxes. Her real estate specific state and local tax compliance experience includes managing large scale, high-volume state compliance workstreams in addition to research and application of state and local technical analyses. She has significant experience working with complex real estate funds, Equity REITs and Mortgage REITs.

Amy specializes in state and local structuring and transaction analyses specifically related to state income and franchise tax complexities and real estate transfer tax.
