When Nick Ambrosini landed a job as an Internal Auditor at a local credit union in 2007, he knew he found his home. From the beginning, Ambrosini worked tirelessly to learn about the financial services sector and quickly found that it was not just the job he was excited about, it was banking. The financial industry, constantly growing and evolving, proved to be a perfect fit for someone with a strong set of values that include collaboration, communication, strategy, and empowerment.

When it comes to long-term organizational success, he has learned no single approach is right for every organization. As such, Nick has experience and knowledge in several areas that include, strategic planning, accounting, risk management, operations, and capital markets, to name a few.

Now President and CEO of Valley Strong Credit Union, Nick stays steadfast in his commitment to building one of the leading credit unions in the country. One step critical to the movement's long-term success is to be a trailblazer and Nick knows achieving that ultimate prize involves open, honest, and thoughtful dialogue and collaboration, both within the financial industry and beyond.

A graduate of UC Santa Barbara, Nick continues to expand his knowledge by attending educational sessions, reading, and listening to business podcasts. Outside of the office Nick serves on several boards including Kern EDC, CSUB Foundation, B3k Leadership Council, ALM First Advisory, and Kern High School Foundation, and is proud to volunteer his time with multiple organizations.
