Amit Pande is an Accounting Branch Chief in the Office of Finance in the SEC's Division of Corporation Finance. He is responsible for managing a team of qualified and experienced accounting professionals in the industry office, along with working on matters related to technical accounting, financial reporting, and disclosure primarily in the financial services industry. Prior to joining the Commission in 2002, Amit was an audit manager at Ernst & Young. Amit earned his Master of Business Administration degree from Georgetown University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (Virginia) and a member of the American Institute of CPAs.
