
Laurin Smith
Ms. Smith is a Managing Director in JPMorgan Chase & Co.'s Corporate Accounting Policy group. She manages a team of professionals that provide guidance on complex transactions and judgmental accounting matters for the Firm's Corporate sector, Treasury and Chief Investment Office, and Asset and Wealth Management business. Ms. Smith also manages the Firm's engagement with standard setting activities. She previously served as the Chair of the International Swaps and Derivatives Association's North America Accounting Committee, and is the current Chair of the SIFMA Accounting Committee.
Prior to her tenure in Corporate Accounting Policy, Ms. Smith managed various teams in the Investment Bank's controllers and valuation functions. Ms. Smith's experience also includes prior roles at Morgan Stanley and Price Waterhouse.
Ms. Smith is a certified public accountant in New York State, and holds a BS in Accounting and Finance and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from the New York University Stern School of Business.
