Jay Seliber is a partner with PwC's National office Accounting and SEC Services group, leveraging close to 35 years of experience to help clients across the country with their most complex accounting matters, particularly in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, impairments, revenue recognition, stock compensation, employee benefits, earnings per share, and financing transactions. Additionally, he spends considerable time developing communications to apprise clients, directors and PwC professionals of recent developments in financial reporting, regulatory, and accounting standards, and is a frequent presenter on PwC podcasts and webcasts, as well as at client events and outside training programs. Jay enjoys teaching others to assist in their professional and personal development, and has previously been PwC's representative on both the FASB's Emerging Issues Task Force (EITF) and the AICPA's Financial Reporting Executive Committee (FinREC). 

Prior to his service in the National office, Jay has previously led audits of multinational and early-stage companies in various technology, manufacturing, and service sectors. He assisted his clients with accounting and financial reporting issues; provided advice on significant agreements and transactions; managed the annual external financial statement audit; and participated in financing, acquisition, and disposition transactions. He has experience with IPOs and debt offerings, and has worked with numerous business combinations and dispositions. 

A graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Jay is licensed as a CPA in New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts and California. Jay also lends his hand to a number of local community organizations, presently or previously serving on the boards of several charitable, business, community and religious organizations.
