James has more than 15 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on both the the construction industry and renewable energy, including general contractors and specialty contractors. James works closely with utility-scale, and distributed generation developers along with institutional investors and asset managers across the U.S. He has extensive experience in providing audit, review, and various consulting services, with a focus on privately held organizations.

He is an active member of the Charlotte chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) and served on the board of directors for the past few years. James also serves as facilitator for the CFMA CFO Peer Group program. He is a Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP^®).

James is a graduate of Ball State University with a B.S. and M.S. degree in accounting.
