John is a seasoned professional in the surety industry, boasting over 40 years of experience working with construction companies of all sizes across the United States. His career began in Texas with Zurich Surety, where he has held various positions in Dallas, TX, Denver, CO, and, since 1997, Overland Park, KS.

Currently, John serves as the Territory Director for Core Contract Surety at Zurich. His expertise and leadership have been focused on not only the underwriting of contract surety but also on building relationships with customers and surety brokers.

John holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) from the University of Arkansas. Further enhancing his professional qualifications, he has earned the designations of Associate in Fidelity and Surety Bonding (AFSB) and Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU). Outside of his professional pursuits, John is deeply committed to staying abreast of industry trends and innovations, continually seeking ways to add value to his clients and colleagues.
