Rohit Elhance is the partner-in-charge of Grant Thornton's SEC Regulatory Matters group. He has nearly 25 years of international experience serving companies in the areas of audit, risk advisory and transaction services. He also has significant capital markets experience and has worked on several IPOs, secondary and follow-on offerings, private placements and audits of public companies.

As a partner in the firm's Audit Quality and Risk practice, Rohit serves as a national resource offering his extensive knowledge to Grant Thornton's professionals and clients on complex SEC reporting and compliance matters. Additionally, he represents Grant Thornton on several Center for Audit Quality task forces and oversees the cross-border filing review function for the firm. Rohit has also led the development of several thought leadership publications and he has facilitated training sessions focused on audit, accounting and SEC reporting matters in the U.S., Europe and Asia.

Prior to joining the national office, Rohit also worked with Grant Thornton's member firm in India (on secondment for 2 years), where he was the national leader for SEC and U.S. GAAP matters and the Practice leader for Grant Thornton India's Pune office.
