David is a Director in the Orange County, California office of SingerLewak LLP.

Experience

David has more than 20 years of public accounting experience, and has primarily specialized in serving smaller to midsize private, and not for profit companies with bookkeeping service, incorporation, sales, quarterly and annual federal, state and local tax and financial reporting requirements, and specialty transactions, such as initial public offerings, private offerings, international and domestic acquisitions and various other accounting and reporting issues surrounding other transactions since having joined the firm in 2001.

David is currently a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.

David was appointed as a member of the Financial Accounting Standards Board, Private Company Council, effective January 1, 2024.

David is a member of the California Society of CPA's Accounting Principles and Assurance Services committee.

David is a former member of the AICPA’s Uniform CPA exam subcommittee for Auditing and Attestation, and the AICPA’s PCPS Technical Issues Committee.
