Katie Gardner
Katie Gardner is a Vice President and Director of the Institute for Trust and Estate Planning at Bernstein Private Wealth Management, sitting in the San Francisco Office. Before joining Bernstein in 2024, Katie was an estate planning associate at Coblentz Patch Duffy & Bass LLP and at Loeb & Loeb LLP, where she focused on sophisticated tax and estate planning techniques for high-net-worth families. Prior to developing an expertise in estate planning, Katie spent two years practicing employee benefits and tax law at Hanson Bridgett LLP. Katie earned her BA in developmental psychology from Stanford University, where she received the J. E. Wallace Sterling Award for Scholastic Achievement. Katie earned her JD from Stanford Law School, where she contributed to the Stanford Law & Policy Review journal and volunteered for the Stanford Tax Pro Bono Project.
