
Kim Fitzgerald
Kim Fitzgerald is currently a HR Business Partner with Aprio. She is responsible for strategic alignment, partnering with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that support organizational goals; employee relations, serving as a point of contact for employees to address workplace issues or conflicts. Advising managers on how to handle employee concerns, performance issues, and disciplinary actions; organizational development, supporting change management initiatives by coaching leaders and helping employees adapt to organizational changes. Kim's former firm Squire, Lemkin + Company, LLP was acquired in June 2023. While at Squire, Lemkin + Company, LLP, she supervised the administrative staff and all administrative procedures and processes in the firm. She also oversaw the firm's information technology, finances/ internal accounting, human resources, and marketing/social media. Kim is a self-starter with great attention to detail. She is also organized and very approachable. These qualities prove essential in the day-to-day business of a CPA firm. Kim has been the Firm Administrator with Squire, Lemkin + Company, LLP since the doors opened in 1997. Kim previously worked with two other local CPA firms prior to joining Squire, Lemkin + Company. She began her career as a receptionist and now has attained the position of managing the administrative work of the entire firm. In August 2012, Kim received her PAFM (Public Accounting Firm Management) designation. On January 1, 2016, Kim was promoted to Director. In June 2018 Kim was awarded the 2018 Firm Manager of the Year Award from the CPA Firm Management Association. She currently holds the position of Secretary/Treasurer on the CPAFMA National Board.
