Daniel Hauffe is a Tax Policy & Advocacy Senior Manager at the AICPA. He is the staff liaison to the Exempt Organizations Technical Resource Panel and the Individual & Self-Employed Technical Resource Panel. In this role, he is responsible for the tax advocacy work related to individuals and specific issues dealing with exempt organizations. Before joining the AICPA, Daniel was most recently a Practice Lead for the Estates, Gifts & Trusts, and Exempt Organizations tax groups at Bloomberg Tax & Accounting where he was responsible for activities such as conducting research and building tax tools for Bloomberg tax subscribers, monitoring legislative and regulatory changes and overseeing the accuracy and updating of the Tax Management Portfolios. Daniel is a tax attorney with approximately 10 years of tax experience.
