
Mark Koziel
Mark is the President & CEO of the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants. The Association advances the global accounting and finance profession on behalf of 597,000 AICPA and CIMA members and candidates in 188 countries and territories.
Mark’s role is to set the overall vision and direction for the Association in collaboration with the Association Board of Directors. He also leads the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) in managing all aspects of the organization’s business towards our vision.
Additionally, Mark leads the Association’s global team to achieve our vision as the most influential body of professional accountants by powering trust, opportunity, and prosperity for people, businesses, and economies worldwide.
In 2020, Mark became the President and CEO of Allinial Global, an association of independent accounting and advisory firms with $6 billion in collective revenue and 268 member firms worldwide. Prior to this role, Mark served at our Association (previously the AICPA).
Mark holds a Bachelor of Science from Canisius University and began his career at an accounting firm—both of which are in Buffalo, New York. He is a certified Charted Global Management Accountant and a Certified Public Accountant.
A leader and advocate for the profession, Mark has appeared among the top 10 of Accounting Today's Top 100 Most Influential People in Accounting and been named to the International Accounting Bulletin's Global Accounting Power 50 List. Mark lives in North Carolina.
