Jose Antunes
Jose Antunes serves as the Chief Utilization Officer at Withum, where he leads the resource management team. In this role, he oversees the utilization of professional staff across the firm, ensuring operations run efficiently and effectively. With more than 25 years of experience spanning both the public and private sectors, Jose brings comprehensive expertise in all aspects of accounting and operations.
Jose has played a key role in advancing Withum’s internal technology initiatives. He has researched, tested, and implemented firm-wide software and applications, enhancing productivity and workflow. In addition, he has managed staff training on software applications and daily procedures, supporting continuous improvement and adoption of best practices.
Dedicated to community service, Jose volunteers a significant amount of his time with various local organizations and previously served on the board of directors for the March of Dimes. He is also an accomplished speaker, having presented for the AICPA and NJCPA on technology topics relevant to accounting firms nationwide and internationally. Jose is a member of the AICPA and the New Jersey Society of CPAs. He actively contributes to several firm initiatives through his involvement on advisory boards and committees.
Jose resides at the ‘Jersey Shore’ in Toms River, New Jersey. Outside of work, he is an avid runner, enjoys Formula One racing, watching sports, and playing golf.
