Dan Mallory is a technology strategist who has spent 20+ years helping CPA and advisory firms modernize, scale, and compete in a digital-first world. As former CIO of a Top 25 accounting firm, he led technology strategy as the firm grew from under $100M to over $400M in revenue—building a 50-person technology organization, supporting the launch of international operations, and driving initiatives in automation, data activation, and client experience.

Today, Dan operates as a Fractional CIO and strategic advisor, working with firms ranked 25–300 on the IPA list on project-based and ongoing CIO advisory engagements. He also serves as a strategic advisor to industry vendors across the accounting technology space.

Dan is known for bridging the gap between executive vision and operational reality—helping firms move from maintenance mode to innovation without the chaos. He is based in Atlanta, GA with his wife and three daughters.
