Mark Mirsky
Mark "Coach" Mirsky co-founded ROI Business Services, LLC, where he lead the Taxation and Management Advisory Services group. In 2022, ROI merged with KRD where Mark became a partner in Tax Services. Subsequently, in Jan, 2025, KRD merged into Aprio where he is the Midwest Regional Tax Lead. With a focus on partnerships, S-corporations, C-corporations and multi-state taxation, he also assists business start-ups, the acquisition, disposition, and transition of businesses, international taxation, manufacturing and distribution, technology, and real estate.
Mark’s specialties include business consulting, business coaching, multi-state and partnership taxation, international tax, S-corporations, startup businesses, tax planning, individual tax, and accounting for, and assistance with structuring sales/acquisitions of businesses. Known by many as “Coach,” his coaching style is being proactive and positive with his clients, supporting and guiding them in achieving their goals.
Previously, Mark worked in international tax at a global accounting firm and two middle-market firms in the Chicago suburbs, serving as a firm-wide resource for partnership, multi-state, and international taxation. He is an Illinois CPA with a master's in taxation from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and is a member of the AICPA and ILCPAS. Mark is a member of Provisors, MBBI (Midwest Business Brokers Association) and XPX.
A recognized instructor, Mark has taught for TaxSpeaker, covering partnership, S corporation, C corporation, individual taxation, and tax law updates. He’s previously taught for AICPA, Western CPE, and Vern Hoven Tax Seminars and has served as a panelist at the National Taxpayer Advocate Public Forum. In September 2024, he was named a Notable Leader in Accounting, Consulting & Law by Crain’s Chicago Business and in April 2025 one of 31 Best-in-State CPAs by Forbes 2025.
An active community leader, Mark was Chairman of the Board for the Bartlett Chamber of Commerce and helped develop Bartlett's Transit Oriented Development Plan. A soccer enthusiast, he’s attended four FIFA World Cups, has tickets to the upcoming World Cup, attended one UEFA Euro Cup and currently coaches as an assistant for Bartlett High School’s varsity boys’ soccer team. Previously Mark was the assistant women's soccer coach for Aurora University and also the assistant for Bartlett High School's varsity girls' soccer team.
