Mark has been practicing in tax for 52 years.  He holds a bachelor's degree from UConn and a Master of Science in Taxation from the University of Hartford. Initially he was a Field Revenue Agent with the I.R.S. but moved to public accounting after 5 years. He joined Cherry Bekaert through its acquisition of Katz, Nannis + Solomon, P.C. in 2024. Mark has worked across the spectrum of entities and tax issues. He has been active in both the Massachusetts and Connecticut Society of C.P.A.s and a member of the A.I.C.P.A. as of obtaining his C.P.A. certification.  He has presented at conferences and currently speaks on Qualified Small Business Stock/1202 issues for the Boston Tax Institute.
