Cory Perry is a principal in Grant Thornton’s Washington National Tax Office, where he leads the firm’s international tax technical practice and serves as the Pillar Two service line leader. He advises on a wide range of cross-border tax issues, including international restructuring, subpart F, GILTI, Pillar Two implementation, foreign tax credits, and M&A transactions. His work focuses on technical analysis, international tax modeling, and helping clients adapt to global tax reform.

Cory regularly assists multinational companies in evaluating structural changes and preparing for compliance under evolving international rules. He also co-chairs Grant Thornton’s Global International Tax Steering Committee, providing strategic oversight of how member firms collaborate across jurisdictions and helping shape the firm’s global tax strategy.

In addition to his work at Grant Thornton, Cory is chair of the AICPA’s International Tax Resource Panel and its OECD Task Force, where he helps guide the profession’s engagement with emerging international standards. He is a frequent speaker and contributor on topics including tax reform, Pillar Two, subpart F, and other global tax developments. His insights have been published in tax journals including Tax Notes International, Bloomberg Daily Tax Report, Practising Law Institute, Tax Management International Journal, Tax Management Memorandum, Law360 Expert Analysis, and The Tax Adviser.
