Brian Thomas, CISA, CISSP, QSA, has over 20 years of experience in management consulting and risk advisory services. He currently oversees Weaver's Advisory Services practice which includes its Consulting, GRC, Financial Advisory and Energy Compliance practices. Brian frequently speaks and publishes articles on subjects relating to technology risk including cybersecurity, technology assurance and third party risk management. He is a former member of the AICPA's Information Management and Technology Assurance (IMTA) Executive Committee and a former member of the IM Advisory Council at the McCombs School of Business of The University of Texas at Austin. He graduated with both a master's and bachelor's degrees in civil engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
