Kim Thomason is Managing Partner of Thomason Financial Resources since 2003 in Nashville, Tennessee.  She received her B.S. in accounting from Auburn University in 1986 and practiced in public accounting for her first 6 years with Price Waterhouse.  She is a member of both the Tennessee State Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs, and has over 30 years of diverse, progressive experience in financial management for a number of industries including not-for-profit, banking, insurance brokerage and governmental entities. Currently with Thomason Financial Resources, she provides audit and tax services for not-for-profit organizations.

Kim serves on the Tennessee State Society of CPA’s Peer Review Committee and serves on several local community boards including West End Home Foundation, STEM Preparatory Academy and Leadership Nashville Alumni.  She is also a consultant and trainer in not-for-profit accounting and audit workshops for the Center for Nonprofit Excellence in Nashville. Outside of her work and volunteer roles, Kim enjoys spending time with her golden retriever, Luna, cheering for Auburn Tigers in all sports, and cycling the Natchez Trace Parkway.
