Emilie is a Director in Grant Thornton's Washington National Tax Office, specializing in partnership taxation. She consults on various partnership tax technical matters such as partnership allocations, transaction characterization, partnership continuation and termination analysis, special basis adjustments, and partnership mergers and divisions. She is a co-service offering leader and the primary contact for assisting teams in adhering to the Bipartisan Budget Act (BBA) centralized partnership audit regime for partnership administrative adjustment requests (AAR) and IRS post-audit procedures upon the completion of an IRS exam. Emilie has co-authored articles in the Tax Advisor and is currently a member of the AICPA's Partnership Taxation Technical Resource Panel. Emilie is a Certified Public Accountant in Kansas and obtained both a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Master of Accountancy from Wichita State University.
