Alison T. Spivey is a partner in Ernst & Young LLP's Professional Practice Group. She is a team leader for revenue recognition, earnings per share, and fair value. Alison recently served on the FASB and IASB's Joint Transition Resource Group for revenue recognition. She is a former Associate Chief Accountant in the SEC's Office of the Chief Accountant, where she was a co-author of Staff Accounting Bulletin No. 107 on share-based payment.

Alison earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from The College of William and Mary. She is a Certified Public Accountant in Virginia and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
