David Duckwitz is the Partner in Charge of Quality in Citrin Cooperman’s National Assurance Office and has over 30 years of experience in auditing and accounting.

David has extensive experience leading the quality function, directing large implementation projects and developing team members. He works collaboratively with all individuals in an organization to solve complex auditing and accounting issues. He has designed operating procedures to ensure compliance with relevant authoritative standards and interpretations, managed peer review processes, and directed assurance department training efforts.

Prior to Citrin Cooperman, David led the quality function at a national accounting firm. Preceding his work in quality, David served clients in various industries including real estate, construction, manufacturing and distribution and not-for-profit organizations. He has also worked as an Internal Audit Manager and a Director of Accounting – Revenue at publicly-held companies.
