Andrew Cannarsa serves as the Executive Director of the Council of the Inspectors General on Integrity and Efficiency (CIGIE). In this role, Mr. Cannarsa provides executive leadership and management of CIGIE's operational staff, and he works with the CIGIE Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, and Executive Council to ensure CIGIE operations and programs align with the priorities of the Federal inspector general community.

Mr. Cannarsa joined CIGIE in 2023, after serving with the Social Security Administration (SSA) Office of the Inspector General (OIG) for 14 years. Mr. Cannarsa holds a Master of Public Administration and Policy from American University.
