James Tomak
James Tomak, CPA, CGMA, is a Financial Reporting Advisor at Fannie Mae, where he supports the preparation and review of quarterly SEC filings and other external reporting activities. He is actively involved in advancing the accounting profession and currently serves as Chair of the PA CPA Foundation and as a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants Council.
A passionate advocate of the profession, James is a graduate of the 2024 AICPA Leadership Academy and was a member of the inaugural U.S. CGMA Accelerator program, earning his CGMA designation in 2026. Prior to joining Fannie Mae, he was an SEC reporting and technical accounting Analyst at The Hershey Company and worked as a Consultant with Protiviti, specializing in SOX and internal controls engagements.
James earned both his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Master of Accountancy from Temple University. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and dog, exploring new towns, and supporting the future of the CPA profession.
