Alfred is a member of the AICPA LGBTQ+ Committee. In this role, Alfred supports the committee's responsibilities to understand barriers that impede the long-term success of LGBTQ+ members in the accounting profession; propose strategies that will alleviate the barriers to retention and advancement of LGBTQ+ members; report on data related to recruiting, retention and advancement; and champion the importance of diversity within the profession. Alfred is also the Risk Consulting Quality and Methodology Leader with RSM, nationally leading the development of RSM's IT audit methodology and supporting the firm's response to the PCAOB's inspection of RSM's quality control system. Alfred holds a Master of Accounting degree from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Economics from the University of Michigan. Alfred and his partner Brad live in Los Angeles and spend their downtime tending to their hobby farm, growing fruits and vegetables, and rescuing chickens, ducks, and doves.
