Crystal Boodoo is a Senior Enforcement Accountant in the SEC's Division of Enforcement in the San Francisco Regional Office. She conducts a wide variety of investigations involving accounting fraud, internal control and disclosure violations, offering fraud and insider trading. She is currently on detail as a senior accounting adviser to the Enforcement Chief Accountant and consults with enforcement teams nationwide on technical accounting, auditing and Rule 102(e) matters.

Prior to joining the Commission, Crystal worked as a forensic accountant with the Fraud & Public Corruption section of the U.S. Attorney's Office in D.C. assisting with criminal white-collar investigations and testifying in court. Prior to that, she worked at Big Four consulting firms conducting internal corporate accounting investigations and anti-money laundering investigations on behalf of issuers, financial institutions and outside counsel. She began her career as an external auditor with a Big Four firm.

Ms. Boodoo is a certified public accountant, a certified fraud examiner and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Management Information Systems at Cabrini University, a Masters in Accounting from the University of Virginia and a Certificate in Securities Regulation from the Georgetown University Law Center.
