Brooke specializes in collaborative financial planning and wealth management with the goal of helping clients make better financial decisions in all areas of life. She earned her Business and Accounting degree from Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA, and started her career in the Los Angeles office of Deloitte. She then spent 8 years in the automotive industry at Nissan Motor Corporation in USA working in various positions within Internal Auditing, Executive Team, and Advertising. Her experience outside the fields of accounting and finance broadened and evolved her understanding of business needs and challenges. During her time at Nissan she also served on the Board of Directors of the Nissan Federal Credit Union. Brooke returned to public accounting and was very happy to achieve a career milestone when she decided to follow her passion into Personal Financial Planning. Brooke is currently Chair of the AICPA Personal Financial Planning Executive Committee, Past Chairman of the CalCPA State Committee for Personal Financial Planning, and a member of the CalCPA Investment Committee. Previously Brooke served as the CalCPA Central Coast Chapter President and Garrett Planning Network Advisory Board member. She has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, CNN Money, Kiplinger's Personal Finance, KSBY, New Times, and Pacific Coast Business Times. Brooke was a contributing author to _Investing in an Uncertain Economy_, part of the Dummies series of books. And author of articles published in the California CPA and The Tax Advisor magazines. Salvini Financial Planning is located in San Luis Obispo, CA. When not working, she especially loves training for trail running events such as _Born to Run _which she enjoys participating in with her grown children and riding her off- the- track rescued Thoroughbred horse.
