Kristen A. Johnson

Ms. Johnson has significant experience in public company governance, risk management, executive compensation, mergers and acquisitions, human capital management, cyber security, information technology, strategy development, and workplace violence prevention. She currently serves in a dual role as Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer for SJW Group (NYSE: SJW) and Senior Vice President of Administration for Connecticut Water Service, Inc. and its subsidiaries, which include the Connecticut Water and Maine Water companies.

Ms. Johnson has held several public company board positions over time. From 2014 until November 2019, she served as an Independent Director, Chair of the Compensation Committee and member of the Executive, Audit and Governance Committees at United Financial Bancorp, Inc. (Nasdaq: UBNK) and its operating company, United Bank (CT). Prior to this she served as Chair of the Compensation Committee and member of the Nominating and Governance committees of Rockville Financial, Inc. (Nasdaq: RCKB) and its operating company Rockville Bank (CT) from 2010 to 2014. Ms. Johnson also served as a non-independent director of Connecticut Water Service, Inc. (Nasdaq: CTWS) and its operating subsidiaries, including Connecticut Water and Maine Water Companies from May, 2018 until the company was acquired by SJW Group in October of 2019.

Ms. Johnson is a Certified Compensation Professional and holds an MA in Human Resources Development.
