After spending 25 years as a finance and operations officer for a range of nonprofit organizations, Sally Alworth co-founded Luminous Botanicals in 2014 with her friend and business partner Devan Anthony. They started the company with $16,000 in cash in a workshop they built behind Devan's garage. Luminous Botanicals makes all-natural, full-spectrum cannabis products for the Oregon market to help people connect deeply with themselves, with others, and with the health of the planet. In 2019, Luminous Botanicals became the world's first Sun+Earth Certified cannabis manufacturing company.
