Bob Herz currently serves on the boards of directors of Fannie Mae ( Audit Committee Chair ), Morgan Stanley ( Audit Committee Chair ), Workiva , and the International Foundation for Valuing Impacts. He is also a member of the advisory boards of AccountAbility, Lukka Inc., and RS Metrics. He previously served on the boards of directors of the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board Foundation and as a member of the Independent Investment Committee of the United Nations Project Operating Services. He was also an executive-in-residence at Columbia Business School for many years. Previously, Bob was Chairman of the FASB from 2002-2010, one of the original members of the IASB, Chairman of the AICPA SEC Regulations Committee, Chairman of the IFAC Transnational Auditors Committee, and a member of the PCAOB's Standing Advisory Group and of the Accounting Standards Oversight Council of Canada. He has authored or coauthored seven books and over 80 published articles and is a member of the Accounting Hall of Fame and recipient of the AICPA Gold Medal Award of Distinction. For many years he was a partner of PwC.
