Tosha Anderson

Founder and Managing Partner
The Charity CFO
As Founder & Managing Partner of The Charity CFO, Tosha Anderson committed her career to working with nonprofits across the United States, with a focus on financial thought leadership, unique accounting guidance, and fiscal management. After realizing an industry need for specialized accounting services with limited financial resources and increasing pressure to keep costs low, the nonprofit enthusiast has helped hundreds of nonprofits achieve the best accounting practices. Before this role, Tosha spent more than 15 years working alongside nonprofits in many capacities, including as an auditor, as a Chief Financial Officer (CFO), as a board member, as a volunteer, and as a knowledgeable consultant. The Charity CFO is one of the fastest-growing CAS firms specializing in the nonprofit sector growing from just 1 team member to 50 team members in less than 5 years. The Charity CFO has doubled in size every year despite a pandemic and tough labor market. In 2023, The Charity CFO was recognized as one of the Fastest Growing Firms by the St. Louis Business Journal. This firm was designed to be intentionally different - in our people and how we do our work. We continue to grow thanks to our commitment to thinking outside the box. Her outgoing personality and modern management style set her apart in the sometimes stodgy world of accounting. And that's made her a sought-after speaker and thought leader in the world of nonprofit accounting and CAS practice management. She regularly speaks on both accounting and operational issues within nonprofits as well as within accounting firms at national and local conferences and symposiums. Most recently, she was honored as part of the St. Louis Business Journal's 40 under 40 class of 2021. She has also been honored as a Top 50 Women in Accounting class of 2020 as well as a Woman of Influence in St. Louis class of 2022.
