Katie Brown is a Supervisory Senior at Huselton, Morgan, & Maultsby P.C., located in Dallas, Texas. She holds both a Bachelor's and a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of North Texas (UNT). Licensed as a CPA in Texas since 2020, Katie further distinguished herself by becoming Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) through the AICPA in 2022.

With a decade of experience in forensic accounting and litigation support services, Katie expanded her expertise to include business appraisals in 2021. She is an active member of the Tarrant County Bar Association and the Tarrant County Probate Bar Association.

Katie is deeply committed to giving back to the accounting profession. She volunteers with UNT's Department of Accounting and serves on the Accounting Advisory Council at Tarrant County College. Recently, she joined the AICPA CFF Credential Committee, further contributing her expertise to the field. Additionally, Katie volunteers with the Texas Society of CPAs and founded a support group for CPA candidates at her firm, demonstrating her dedication to supporting the next generation of accountants.

Katie's exceptional contributions have been recognized with several prestigious awards. In 2023, she received the AICPA FVS Standing Ovation award and was named one of NACVA's Thirty Under 30.
