Rachel Hennessy is a principal in Hemming Morse's Los Angeles office. Rachel has more than 20 years of forensic accounting and financial litigation consulting experience and has testified in trial, arbitration, mediation, and deposition as an expert in forensic accounting. Rachel has conducted accounting and fraud investigations, damages analyses, and other financial and consulting work. She has worked in a number of industries, including financial services, banking, construction, healthcare, energy, manufacturing and technology, as well as municipal governments and sovereign entities.

As a Certified Public Accountant, Rachel has prepared damages analyses related to intellectual property infringement, false advertising, acquisition disputes, breach of contract, and other disputes. She also has experience conducting forensic accounting engagements for the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Department of Justice (DOJ), and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). Rachel has conducted numerous fraud investigations related to Ponzi schemes, asset misappropriation schemes, and accounting and audit malpractice issues.
