
Gretchen Krueger
As a senior vice president and senior fellow of the Institute for Family Success, Gretchen empowers clients to navigate the benefits, responsibilities, and challenges of significant wealth, providing a suite of specialized services designed for high-net-worth individuals and families. Gretchen is part of a dedicated team of professionals who have the unique knowledge and experience to understand the importance of strategic advice related to wealth's financial, social, and human dimensions. She takes a holistic approach to help clients not only sustain wealth across multiple generations but ensure that it remains a positive force for years to come.
Prior to joining PNC, Gretchen served as a member of Wells Fargo's Family Wealth and Culture Services team. In that role, she focused on the discovery, sharing, and preservation of UHNW clients' family and business histories. She guided families in using storytelling as a unique tool for defining and amplifying their values. During her 17-year tenure, Gretchen also gained experience and expertise in multi-gen and rising gen education, women and wealth initiatives, and curriculum and event development.
Gretchen graduated with a Bachelor of Science in biology from Truman State University and with a Doctor of Philosophy in history from Yale University. She completed her graduate training with a postdoctoral fellowship at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Gretchen is also a Certified Advisor through 21/64, an organization devoted to training facilitators for next generation engagement.
